Cinnamon Roll Protein Waffle Recipe

Cinnamon Roll Protein Waffles

Recipe

Cinnamon Roll Protein Waffle Ingredients:
2 ¼ cups old fashioned rolled oats, blended
½ cup milk of choice
1 ½ cups greek yogurt
6 large eggs
2 Tbsp honey
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 ½ tsp baking soda
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1 cup vanilla protein powder
sprinkle of salt
Cooking Spray

Cinnamon Swirl Topping:
4 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp honey
splash of milk

Instructions:

  1. Blend rolled oats until they resemble oat flour.

  2. Add remaining ingredients for waffles into blender and blend.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix together all ingredients for cinnamon swirl topping.

  4. Pre-heat waffle iron. It should be HOT (be careful 🙂)

  5. Spray waffle iron with cooking spray.

  6. Add waffle batter into waffle iron, about 2 Tbsp of batter for a mini waffle iron.

  7. Drizzle cinnamon swirl topping onto batter and shut the waffle iron lid.

  8. Follow waffle iron instructions to cook waffle through. Open and remove waffle carefully!

  9. Drizzle more cinnamon swirl on top and ENJOY!
